This year, 2008, will be the fifth year we will be distributing back packs filled with items requested from the teachers of children and youth of the San Carlos Apache Tribe.  Items will be collected beginning May 1st.  The deadline to receive these items is July 1, 2008.  Over 500 backpacks will be needed in 2008!

Back packs for these older students must be mesh or see-through.
They also need a “Trapper Keeper”-type binder (preferably that zips all the way around.)
